The MAD Festival 2015 comes to a satisfying close
It has been a busy couple of weeks in Plett! The Plett MAD festival proved to be an epic success, drawing in people from all over to join in the fun!
Kicking off with the Plett Fringe Festival, Plett locals were not disappointed with the talent and entertainment.
By taking the audience through the life of a young boy working in the South African mines to transporting the viewers into a different era with all the musical classics, tears were brought to many eyes.
An entire weekend filled with talent, dance, laughter and even time travel had the audience captivated.

Second in line was the Plett country fair, which was not short of activities for the whole family!
I am sure the masses that attended will agree that this should become a more regular event.
There was fun for all at the fair, including one’s doggy’s and the kiddies – LOVING their horse rides and playing with bow and arrows.

With this event been a once a year a “Fair” – we cannot wait for the next one where the aim is to keep it fun, fresh and different.
Last but not least The Plett Food Film Festival was one of the most exciting highlights of the year.
Plett welcomed the world famous ‘Spice Prince’ Reza Mahammad to Plett where he combined Indian and Western flavours to stunning effect, delivered in an informal and humorous style.
Plett was fortunate enough to meet a few celebs during this MAD festival and experience a true taste of life!
