Plett Arts Opening Celebration at The Heath
The Heath Opening Celebration took place on Wednesday the 6th October 2021.
The Heath complex is under new ownership offering a collection of eclectic curiosity shops, textiles and furniture design, eateries, and of course the Raptor Rescue Plett.
On Wednesday evening, visitors and locals enjoyed the opening celebration, launching their outstanding exhibitions and enjoyable activities during the Plett Arts Festival.
Raptor Rescue Plett exhibited, ‘The Night of a 1000 Owls’, in honour of the majestic birds in their care. Visitors perused through many owl artworks submitted by local schools in support of Plett Raptor Rescue. A percentage of the proceeds was handed over in aid to the Masizame Child and Youth Centre.
The main part of the Ilovani Showroom was converted into a magically crafted gallery space exhibiting nature-inspired paintings, sculptures, prints, furniture, lighting, and a myriad of captivating showpieces.
The evening turned out to be thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining, as friends and family relaxed with snacks, wine, and loads of friendly conversation.
