PAWS screening of ‘The Art of Racing in the Rain’

PAWS in collaboration with Open Plan Pictures presented the screening of the 2019 movie ‘The Art of Racing in the Rain,’ on Saturday 14 August 2021.

A fun outdoor movie experience for the whole family was well supported and thoroughly enjoyed.

Paws raised funds in aid of Bitou’s furry friends with the showcasing of the 2019 movie “The Art of Racing in the Rain”, which stars Milo Ventimiglia and Amanda Seyfriedt and features Kevin Costner as the voice of Enzo, the Golden Retriever.

“A sincere thanks to all who supported the PAWS/Open Plan Movie event at Market Square. The evening was not without its challenges, but we really appreciated the fact that everyone entered into the spirit of things and made the most of the outing. and it was wonderful to see some dogs joining in.

“The picnics supplied by MacFee, the Market Square Restaurant, 084 480 1110 were quite impressive.

“In terms of our agreement with Open Plan Pictures, we shared the income and we each made R4 600 (including a healthy sum from the raffle). We are so grateful to you all for this welcome contribution to PAWS funds!

“The raffle for a generous R2 500 gift voucher from Chanel at French Kisses was won by Johnny and Karen Amoils. Thank you to all for buying tickets.
