Kranshoek Community Project give thanks after the Fires
The community of Kranshoek worked together to organise a very special Youth Weekend project over the weekend of Youth Day 2018.
There was such an amazing support from all over the community, and the organisers wish to thank especially Ocean Safaris, the sport teams, and all the volunteers.
On Friday the 15th of June 2018, Yolande Johnson, Pastor Andy Anthony, and their team of volunteers presented drama and fun activities, and provided meals to over 50 young children and youth, as a start to youth day.
And on the next day there had been a special dance presentation by Diversity Dance group, rugby, netball, cricket and other fun activities.
Volunteers provided meals to the participants and everyone had a special time together.
Some of the guests and attendants included community persons Leigh Dunn and Councillor Annelise Olivier, representing the other communities as well as the Bitou Council. Olivier encouraged the community and thanked them for standing together to support the Youth in her speech.
They are looking forward to their next community event and especially the children are very excited to continue their drama and other fun activities, and team work.
