Join Greenpop’s Festival of action for an open day or sustainability workshop
Eden residents are invited to join Greenpop for two sustainability workshops several free, active Open Days throughout the three-week event.
Join Greenpop in planting thousands of trees and begin the process of regreening the Garden Route in the wake of the devastating fires of June 2017.
In order to make the Eden Festival of Action as accessible as possible to all, Greenpop are offering limited spaces to join a number of their activations throughout the event.
These one-day activations will be free of charge and allow eager, active locals to participate in the festival without needing to camp out or stay for a full week-long programme.
In addition to the open days, two in-depth sustainability workshops will be held on the 12th of July: An Introduction to Permaculture with Philippa Mallac, and An Introduction to Biomimicry with Sue Swain.
Each four hour workshop costs R150 and includes lunch at Peace of Eden.
Greenpop is an award-winning social-environmental non-profit enterprise, bringing their seventh Festival of Action to the Eden District this year to regenerate habitats and restore ecosystems, as well as creating mass environmental impact by planting indigenous trees, building beehives and creating environmental art.
Come and get stuck in at one or more of their amazing venues, learn about environmental topics, make friends, work hard and have a bit of fun!
