Golfing in Paarl

You will be able to have a few rounds of enjoyable golf at the two well known golf courses in Paarl. Both courses were designed by world class golfers and offer excellent facilities.

Paarl Golf Club

Paarl Golf Club at Boschenmeer was designed by David Frost. This challenging course is situated on the banks of the Berg River amongst mature trees and with the beautiful mountains as a backdrop. Added to this are the beautifully designed water features.

This 27 hole course is the first of its kind in the Western Cape and challenges both the amateur and the Pro.

It consists of the Berg River 9, the Paarl 9 and the Boschenmeer 9. The course length for Club games is 5823m.

The Paarl Golf club also offers a high-tech golf academy and driving range, as well as a state-of-the-art club house. Facilities include a Pro Shop with caddies, carts and clubs available for hire.

Pearl Valley Golf Course

Pearl Valley Golf Course outside Paarl was designed by Jack Nicklaus.  Pearl Valley Golf Estate is currently ranked under the top 5 Golf Clubs by Golf Digest. The golfing legend did an amazing job and his personal touch can be seen throughout this incredible course.

Pearl Valley is truly in a league of its own – the course design and aesthetic beauty, the combination of the deep, lush green on the fairways and greens, together with the brilliant white river sand lining the bunkers was carefully planned to make Pearl Valley the most visually spectacular golf course in the country.

This 18 hole Par 74 course varies in length between 4685 to 5876m for club games.

A full fleet of golf carts, state of the art facilities and superb playing surfaces make for an excellent round of golf.

The clubhouse overlooks the 9th and 18th holes and here you can relax and have a drink and experience the culinary delights on offer.
