Volvo – GreenForBlue Awards 2013 | Judging
The judging for the 4th annual Volvo – GreenForBlue Awards took place last week in Nelspruit.
The Volvo GreenForBlue Awards is an annual environmental competition that is run by the AutoTec Foundation in conjunction with the Department of Education and Environmental Affairs. The aim of the competition is to award and recognise the schools and teachers that create the greatest awareness about nature conservation among there pupils.
Educators and Curriculum Implementers from the Department of Education and Environmental Affairs were judged on their portfolios of the work they have completed. The top three educators from each area were chosen as well as one overall Mpumalanga winner.
The winners will be announced at a prize giving which will take place at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden on the 14th of September. Prizes include personal laptops and office equipment for the winner’s schools.
