International author visits Nelspruit

International author of the next best seller, Colleen Cole, addressed Nelspruit ladies on Wednesday morning, 18 September at Kokopellis.

Currently travelling the world to promote her new book entitled Guilt: Secret War of Successful Women, Cole spoke about her life’s journey.

“I married a man named Bill when I was 17 and together we started our own successful franchising business in Canada. My life took a drastic turn when Bill passed away in 2009 and I felt like I owed it to him to continue with the business. Soon I realised that I was struggling to balance business demands with the family. I kept wanting to please everyone and do what was expected of me,” Cole said.

She continued by saying that today she wants to help other women who are struggling with the same issues as she is and decided to write her book. “I always wanted to be a writer but with my demanding lifestyle, I would not necessarily have done this. I made a decision to embark on this journey to find out who Coleen really is,” Cole said.

Together with business coach, Melody Tomlinson and author of Charity without Borders, the trio are travelling the country to offer other aspiring writers the opportunity to have their own books published.
