GRANT PONTING APPOINTED AS KMIA CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
21 October 2021, Mbombela – The Board of Primkop Airport Management (Pty) Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Ponting as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), with effect from 10 January 2022. Most recently, Grant held the position of CEO at Trappers Outdoor.
Grant has broad leadership and commercial experience, having grown the Trappers wholesale and franchise business, and expanding the retail group into a cluster of 37 stores nationwide, generating significant revenues. He has been responsible for engagement with large groups of stakeholders and led the company through the acquisition of the business in 2019.
Grant holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Retail Management from Stirling University in Scotland and a Batchelor of Commerce from the University of Natal.

Grant will take up the position of CEO of KMIA on the 10th of January 2022.
