Festive Fashion
Nelspruit is a festive place and on any given day there is bound to be some sort of festival, show or social gathering taking place somewhere. Jolene Greeff of Jola Boutique shares some fashion secrets on how to dress for the public eye.
The Festival
Festivals play a huge roll in the Lowveld and apart from Innibos, which is one of the biggest annual festivals in the country, the Lowveld is also home to the Uplands Festival, Avo Festival, Citrus Festival, Komatiepoort Prawn Festival, Maroela Makiti and more. These festivals are fun occasions and when attending one you must surely look the part while still being practical and feeling comfortable.
Jolene proposes this fun and fabulous printed dress (R675) with a leather and material belt (R230) and three flower crochet necklaces (R195 each). See image below.
Looking Great Outdoors
Whether you are having a picnic in the botanical garden or plan on visiting some of the beautiful waterfalls the Lowveld has to offer, it’s easy to mix practicality and comfort with a touch of style by combining the right items. Here Jolene put together a cardigan 3/4 printed shirt (R495) and a colourful Big Blue skirt. Add a Heart Thong necklace (R210) to round it off and you are ready to look good while having fun.
Corporate Candy
Some social occasions require a bit more formality but that does not mean that you have to look dull. Be the star of the show with this Heart of Africa Desequal Dress (R725) and ad a scarf and some Thong full beads (R210), Thong heart beads (R210) and a scarf to complete the look. Ideal for any corporate function or simply a good day in the office.
