Uplands Commends the Matric Class of 2022
Uplands College is proud to announce that the class of 2022 has achieved a 100% pass rate for yet another year, with an impressive 99% of all candidates meeting the requirements for Bachelor’s Degree Studies.
We believe that quality education involves not only the pupils and teachers but also includes the support and commitment of our parent body. These pupils’ accomplishments serve as an inspiration to others and will open many doors for their bright futures. We are excited to see how our matriculants will apply the knowledge and skills they have gained at Uplands College to become happy, successful, contributing members of society.
Our top candidate, Chantal Bourdin, achieved 9 distinctions and is listed on the IEB’s Outstanding Achievers List and was placed in the Top 1% of pupils in Engineering Graphics and Design, Life Orientation, and Visual Arts.
Natasha Wales achieved 8 distinctions, was placed on the IEB’s Commendable Achievers List, and was also listed in the Top 1% for Life Orientation and Life Sciences.
Angela Mabuza was also placed on the IEB’s Commendable Achievers List. Angela achieved 7 distinctions with her results in Business Studies, English, and Life Orientation and was also acknowledged within the Top 1%.
Njabulo Madzhie achieved an outstanding 7 distinctions. He was also ranked within the Top 1% in Physical Sciences.
The following pupils achieved 6 distinctions: Gemma Ferguson, Asha Loon, Zayaan Omar, Marinus van den Ende, Marco van Stelten and Joshua van Maanen. Joshua achieved in the Top 1% for Further Studies in Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

Uplands is a leading private co-educational day and boarding school located in White River and grounded in tradition. Boys and girls have benefitted from the wonderful 110-ha countryside campus and the wide range of sporting and extra-curricular offerings for almost 95 years.
