Unigrad College’s recent Graphic Design Expo brought to light the ingenuity and skill of ten promising designers. ShowMe Nelspruit was present to capture he event, capturing the essence of each artwork and artist. In addition to the visual displays, the expo featured an impressive sound engineering demo, showcasing the breadth of creative talent at Unigrad. The evening was a celebration of the students’ journey from concept to final product, utilizing a blend of traditional artistry and digital technology. Unigrad Graphic Design Course: Shaping Tomorrow’s Creatives
Unigrad College invites aspiring designers to join its comprehensive Graphic Design course starting on February 12, 2024. This full-time, one-year program is meticulously structured to immerse students in the world of multimedia and design. It offers a balanced approach, combining traditional techniques with modern digital technology. With a focus on real-world applications, the curriculum covers various design principles and digital design applications, including industry-standard software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, and Audition.
Students will have the opportunity to build a robust portfolio—a crucial asset for future employment—as they progress through subjects such as Web and Online Design Fundamentals, Drawing, Animation, and Foundational 3D Design. Unigrad College prides itself on equipping students not just with theoretical knowledge, but with a hands-on, practical skill set that meets current industry needs.
Graduates emerge with a short learning program certificate, ready to dive into the professional world as graphic designers, web designers, multi-media specialists, and more. The Unigrad experience is further enriched with resources like the student portal myUnigrad, providing support material and online courses at no extra cost, along with free Wi-Fi on campus.
For those interested, the course fee includes all study materials and textbooks, with additional budgeting suggested for printing and an art kit. The college is accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and is a registered examination centre with the Department of Higher Education and Training.
