Mopani MTB Race 3 - Start-Finish-24

Mbombela – The 3rd installment of the 2018 Mopani MTB Series was held over the weekend once again at Kavinga Guest House just outside Nelspruit.

With a new twist in the mix, hosts, Sunshine Events and Mopani Pharmacy teamed up with Bidvest Van & Truck Rental to add a new stage to the main riders of the 48kms and ever so gently called it King of the Mountain.

As always, this now popular and ever growing local sporting event went off without a glitch with awesome tracks and scenic yet demanding obstacles to overcome. The King of the Mountain was no easy fete with riders taking on a daunting hill to reach the summit where Bidvest Van & Truck had their water point and this was where the results of the first-to-last rider was recorded.

As always, ShowMe Nelspruit was on scene to capture the awesome day. We have once again placed the photos in numerical order for easy access and the King of the Mountain (KOM) has been organized from 1st to last.
