White River – The second leg of the Demacaon Max Wax MTB Series took place over the weekend at Pull Scar Timbers on the magnificent trails of MTO Trails Lowveld just outside White River, Mpumalanga.

The success of the 1st event earlier in the year for this brand new series kept up with the momentum and made for a very busy day on the shores of the well-known Klipkopje Dam.

The 30km capacity group of over 160 riders astonished spectators and riders alike and has rarely been seen in the Lowveld for MTB events on local level.

Hosts Sunshine Events along with MTO Trails created a memorable and exciting ride for all stages with a fall or tow being the only minor incidents of the day, and can be expected on wet and muddy conditions in the humid forests of the Lowveld.
