Photos of Behind the mask of an authentic woman
3 October 2018 saw the grand opening of Authentic Women – an initiative established in March 2018 by the young and upcoming business woman and entrepreneur Michelle Vogt.
Authentic women is a platform created for women, from all walks of life; including business women, housewives and even the young girls of today, to inspire and motivate them towards authenticity, and by not allowing society to have a negative influence on their talents. Be yourself, express yourself and let God lead: a powerful motto which was the beacon of the evening’s events and discussions.
Michelle says that “most women struggle with self confidence because they are scared of judgement from the world. I myself is still working on that fear. We want to focus on teaching women that true success comes from being your authentic self. To know and accept yourself as you are and as God created you. To walk proudly and confidently in the shoes of your own identity. Women must know that people are not there to be compared or to compete with, accepting that ‘you are you’ and ‘I am me.’ ”
The organization will be involved in hosting motivational women events, authentic women in business events, blogging, travel media, public speaking and branding by association. They go that extra mile to bring women advice and useful tips, showcase everything authentic in their daily lives, which includes entrepreneurship, planned activities, fashion, beauty, health and giving their own input on how to deal with every other obstacle women face in life.
Over 80 women attended the grand opening in Nelspruit and the positive energy could be felt a mile away. Women were laughing wholeheartedly and singing out loud with Natasha C. There were plenty of prize giveaways, and every lady took home a gift bag filled with goodies.
