The Rest Nature Estate: Western on East Event

A “Yee-haw” time was had by the owners and residents of The Rest Nature Estate on the evening of the 04^th of May 2017.  A Wild West party was the order of the day, held to celebrate the release of their sub-divisions of their stands on the East side of The Rest.

The festivities took place on the estate under the stars on an elevated cul-de-sac overlooking the magnificent views of the valley below.

The “Western on East” event truly lived up to its name by featuring; horses, cactuses and hay bales with lanterns and fire pits creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The guests arrived in their finest cowboy attire and feasted on a delicious ‘Wild West’ inspired menu whilst enjoying a live performance by country artist Henri van Vuuren.  The evening kicked into high gear with prizes being handed out for the best dressed, line dancing lessons, dance-offs and even a quick draw competition.

The Rest is a nature estate with abundant bird and animal life spanning over 320 hectares.  The residents enjoy extensive walking, cycling and jogging routes throughout the estate. Curro Independent School is also conveniently located at the main entrance.
