Photos of Alvi’s Drift Wines food pairing @ Zest Restaurant

Mbombela – In the valley of the pristine Breede River in the Western Cape of South Africa, lies the Private Cellar of Alvi’s Drift – well known for their impeccable Chenin Blanc and Pinotage.

Alvi’s Drift Private Cellar takes its name from the low water bridge crossing the Breede River on the family farm which is know as Alfalfa. Alfalfa is a 7,000ha property owned by the van der Merwe family with 410 ha dedicated to 19 grape varieties.

This great wine maker recently paired up with another great in the Lowveld area and Winner again of Best of Mbombela 2018, Zest Restaurant & Fine Wines. Together they prepared and mastered yet again another successful and delectable wine and food pairing for a full house on the outskirts of Nelspruit.
