South African soccer legends visit Middelburg
Two South African soccer legends, former Orlando Pirates captain Lucky Lekgwathi and former PSL Golden Boot winner Rodney Ramagalela, paid a special visit to the Middelburg Observer.
With the return of the MTN8 cup season, South African soccer legends such as former Orlando Pirates captain Lucky Lekgwathi and former PSL Golden Boot winner Rodney Ramagalela, visited the Middelburg Observer to showcase the impeccable trophy.
In their visit across the Mpumalanga province, the beautiful MTN8 trophy was on display outside the Observer on August 22, with the two retired stars posing for pictures with adoring fans.
Lekgwathi, known affectionately as ‘Captain my Captain’, played an instrumental role at centre-back for the Buccaneers during their title-winning campaigns over a decade ago.
Who can forget his stunning goal against SuperSport United, which proved vital to the Pirates on their way to claiming that season’s league title.
