The Opening of the much anticipated Middelburg Mall Phase Two was a moment of sheer celebration and happiness for Shop Owners who are excited about a new venture – as well as the thousands of shoppers and the local community who continue to show unwavering support and flock to the Mall as a very busy month-end is expected.

The new phase is anchored by a 3,750sqm Spar with a 250sqm Tops at Spar, and also features a 800sqm Ackermans, and a clear crowd favourite is the Halaal Chicken Licken.

The extension adds to the overall retail variety at the mall and introduces four first-time retailers to Middelburg. Dis-Chem has opened a 1,500sqm store and Mr Price Sport will welcome shoppers in a 700sqm store. Popular Australian retail brands Cotton On and Typo have brought shoppers ‘fresh fashion’ in a 400sqm store and quirky stationery and gifts in 140sqm.

The extension links seamlessly with all the convenience of 90 retails already at Middelburg Mall, including leading South African grocery and department stores Checkers, Woolworths, Edgars, Pick n Pay and Game, as well as a full house of local banks.

Moolman Group’s Jannie Moolman noted that the larger retail offering at Middelburg Mall is supported by more services, like parking, ensuring customers continue to enjoy a pleasant, convenient and complete shopping experience.
