There are many factors that make a skiing location lauded by both seasoned and newbie skiers. These include great snow, scenic mountains, colourful culture, a rocking party scene and sumptuous foods. Taking all of these into account plus a lot more, here are some of the top destinations around the world.

Niseko, Japan
This town in Japan snows most of the year, thanks to the climate from neighbouring Siberia. The mountains of Hokkaido are known to produce the most consistent and lightest snow on the planet and Niseko is its premier spot for snow, culture, food and everything else. This laid-back hot spring-filled town brings a wonderful vibe to travellers, while an abundance of skiing trails makes Niseko one of the world’s top skiing destinations and the ultimate adventure and luxury escape.
Fernie, British Colombia, Canada

Bozeman, Montana
Diehard skiers congregate in Bozeman, Montana, yearly to further improve their skills. What better way to do this than in the outstanding snow slopes of the ‘Adventure capital of the Northern Rockies’. A number of cool bars and hotels make the after-skiing nightlife more interesting at the same time.
Chamonix, France
Adrenaline junkies who like to ski at big mountains will find Chamonix a ‘skier’s paradise’ due to its extreme snow trails, which have given birth to some of the world’s skiing luminaries. Sitting in the shadow of Mount Blanc, this place is more than ideal to find and enjoy awesome snow.
