Jack Daniels cocktails to try this Easter
Jack Daniels cocktails are perfect for sippin’ on a hot summer day or night.
Why is it called a ‘smash?’
Because when you put a little extra effort into shaking up this classic cocktail, the ice smashes the mint leaves into small pieces.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey
- 6-8 mint leaves
- 12.5 ml lemon juice
- 12.5 ml simple syrup
- crushed ice
Instructions
- ½ fill a cocktail shaker with cubed ice
- Add all ingredients and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds
- 2/3 fill a highball glass with crushed ice
- Strain the liquid into the glass
- Add mint sprig to garnish
TENNESSEE MULE
The fiery spice of ginger with the smoothness of Jack.
If you find the fire of ginger beer a bit too challenging for your taste buds, then try swapping for ginger ale. This sweeter alternative still delivers the taste but without the intense kick.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7
- Ginger beer
- Squeeze of lime
Instructions
- ¾ fill a highball glass with cubed ice
- Pour Old No. 7 over ice
- Add remaining ingredients and stir
- Add lime wedge to garnish
