The new @Whales Restaurant in Plettenberg Bay

A delightful time was had by all this Easter weekend with the newly revamped @Whales Restaurant opening their doors to a full capacity crowd. ShowMe went along to capture of the festivities.

@Whales (formerly Manja Kwa) is situated on the grounds of the Whalesong Hotel and Hydro which are also part of the Legend Lodges Group. After a fresh revamp in 2014 and the appointment of a small team of dedicated staff, diners can expect the new @Whales to feel fresh, lively and on point. The brand new menu offers exquisitely prepared popular foods with a strong focus on only the freshest ingredients. Essentially, @Whales is a casual, ambient restaurant offering crowd-pleasing favorites like seafood platters, pizza & pasta, tapas and steaks. I was absolutely blown away by their take on these classics though. Every bite we had was just a delight!

The elevated Marine Drive location lends itself to a very relaxing dining experience perfect for families, couples, locals, groups and visitors to Plettenberg Bay.
