Tshisa Talent Knysna finalists have been selected
Tshisa Talent is a performing artist development organisation that has been running a talent search competition in Knysna since the end of November.
Over 160 artists registered and the Tshisa team saw dancers, singers, choirs, poets and theatre makers. They visited Masifunde Library, Khayalethu community hall, Smutsville, Rheenendal and Hornlee.
20 of the best artists from these areas were selected to perform at the semi finals on Dec 9th at Knysna Secondary school in Hornlee. A very enthusiastic audience, including Knysna Executive Mayor Eleanore Bouw Spies and Councillor Pofadder, cheered the performers on.
Many thanks to our local judges Louisa Harker, Antonio Moos, rapper Nel, Nicotee Mayila and Amanda Valela had a tough time selecting the top 12 artists to go through to the finals on 28th January in Knysna town centre (venue to be confirmed)
