Knysna turns on the lights!

The annual Street Festival, International Food Fair and the turning on of the Street Christmas Lights brought locals and tourists to Main Road Knysna on the 16th December 2016.

Knysna’s streets were filled to the brim, as local musicians, artists and traders entertained kept everyone entertained.

Reconciliation was definitely in the air on this beautiful day, as the smell of the food and sounds of live local entertainment set the tone for the day. People gathered anywhere and every where, tasting food, being amused by some of the goods on sale or simply shopping for those last minute Christmas presents.

Father Christmas surprised all the kids with his presence and at sunset Knysna’s Mayor, Eleanore Bouw-Spies commenced with the turning on of the Xmas Street lights. A great round off to a beautiful day!
