Written by a REFORMED politician…

“The premise of this letter is that I LOVE SOUTH AFRICA.

I spent 30 years in the fight for a just and free society. I was not alone. We fought for a society where everyone is equal before the law. We fought for the righteous Bill of Rights and the noble principles espoused in the Freedom Charter. We thought that we had won that fight only to find out that we have put the wolf in charge of the sheep and the wealth of the country.

We sacrificed too much to allow one SKOLLIE and his band of wicked men to mess up the country for us and our children – ZUMA MUST GO and SOUTH AFRICA MUST RI.SE.

In my town of Knysna, people from all walks of life, rich and poor, black and white, young and old, came together with common purpose, coming together to make their voices heard. This little town of Knysna marched in their thousands to say: “ZUMA MUST GO” and “WE’RE SICK OF CORRUPTION”.

It was very festive, sometimes even comical when some white people wanted to toyi-toyi and shout slogans they didn’t understand. I don’t criticise them. I applaud them for their spirit. It reminded me of the World Cup of Madiba. What I great nation we can be when we try!

Only a common goal could bring people together like that. First it was the World Cup of hope for a better future. Now it’s dissatisfaction with President Jacob Zuma and his corrupt ministers.”
