GaySA Radio Pink Loerie Parade 2017

GaySA Radio Pink Loerie Mardi Gras & Arts Festival was hosted in Knysna from the 26th April till the 1^st May 2017.

In its 17th year, the festival was considerably smaller in comparison to previous years, however this didn’t stop everyone from having fun.

The Pink Loerie Parade was proudly led by GaySA Radio, featured a marching band and two giant flags.

This year’s central theme surrounded charity and three local charitable organisations benefited hugely from the various fundraising activities that were held throughout the festival.

The Festival is a celebration of the LGBTQ community across Southern Africa and features fine art exhibitions, themed parties, craft markets, visability workshops, fashion shows and ‘meet & greets’ with The Queens of Wigstock Hostesses.

The Pink Loerie Parade held on the Main Road was proudly led by GaySA Radio, featured a marching band and two giant flags.
