Fatti’s fundraiser turned out to be a positive success! Due to the great support of the Knysna community, they managed to raise approximately R8000 with the various drives at last count, ranging from the collection cans to the raffles. This total excludes all the donations they received with regards to animal food, which was enormous and much appreciated by all involved.

‘We honestly consider the fundraiser to have been a massive success. It has not only created a sense of community, but also a showcase for Knysna artists and feet for Woodmill Lane, which we still consider the Heart of Knysna. This is a definite platform to build upon for future fundraisers.’ – Sparklife Studios.

When Fatti, an avid supporter and lover of Knysna – involved in various fundraisers, approached Sparklife Studios to assist, they happily supported her endeavour. Community is what living is ultimately about and all who were involved in the fundraiser believe a community who stands together, builds together – ultimately creating a better environment for everyone.

Woodmil LaneThe support from the artists were fantastic with no less than 7 artists and groups showcasing their very best. The day started off with a sensational jamming session performed by the Drum Café. There were local craft and food stalls displayed around the gazebo, bring vibrancy to the heart of Woodmil Lane, as Paul Zeman and Pierre Opperman enchanted us with their groovy sounds.

During the early afternoon, Knysna’s most beautiful pets graced the stage in a Doggie Fashion Show. Stefanie Seydeck’s dog won the prize for the best dressed dog, however most of the contestants won some or other prize for simply attending and sharing.

Once the Doggie Fashion Show was over, everyone was treated to a highly informative dog grooming demo and further live entertainment, with the likes of Suzi Q, Kerry O Hagen, Lani Grove and Shaza. Well done to Norman Dittberner for winning the raffle draw sponsored by the pristine Blackwaters River Lodge & Mashie Golf Course.

It was definitely a lively event where a little wine tasting and fun was had by all till late into the evening. Fatti, Sparklife Studios, Chaplins Coffee Shop and Woodmil Lane have exceeded themselves – definitely worth supporting more of these fundraisers in the near future.
