Art for A Deserving Kaws

Example of Art Work that will be for Sale.
A very special exhibition in aid of the Knysna Animal Welfare Society (Kaws) is set to open its doors to the public on Thursday 17 November and will be on show for only two days.
The exhibition can be viewed on Friday 18 November (09:00 – 17:00) and Saturday 19 November (09:00 – 13:00).
Original, unique artworks, all created by local artists, will be on sale at the exhibition which opens at 17:30 on Thursday at Knysna’s Old Gaol. Two chairs painted by celebrated local artist Faith du Plessis will be auctioned at the event and a portion of all sales will go to Kaws.
The exhibition follows the great art wall unveiling which took place at the Kaws operational center on Monday 7 November.
All the artworks on show and available for purchase may also be viewed here.
Kaws promotes animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty to animals while providing a safe haven for lost, stray, abused or neglected animals. It provides veterinary care when necessary and possible, and works to rehome animals so they may receive quality care in a domestic environment.
