St Francis Bay flourishing through buildng and property sales
September 1, 2013
Nine months after the fires on the St Francis Bay canals on 11 November 2012, St Francis Bay is flourishing. There is still a steady building and property sales boom in the town.
Most of the top builders are extremely busy with work lined up for the foreseeable future. Plus estate agencies in St Francis Bay, and surprisingly also in Cape St Francis, are experiencing great sales from their show houses and adverts.
Bev Mortimer, Editor of St Francis Chronicle, spoke to some of the top builders and estate agents about the latest developments. She wrote the article this week for BizNewz, the new business website by top Gauteng business journalist, Alec Hogg, founder and former owner of Moneyweb. Alec was also her colleague at the former Rand Daily Mail in Johannesburg.
BizNewz has a growing number of niche readers (CEOS, bankers, traders, stockbrokes and horse breeders in Natal among them) and several of Alec’s first articles or posts have already gone viral.
