PLEDGE A BOX AND SPREAD GOODWILL
THE Santa Shoe Box project for 2013 is well underway and although a whopping 60 000 boxes have already been pledged nationally, the Kouga still needs more.
The project collects shoe boxes at Christmas time for thousands of children from vulnerable social backgrounds. Donors are assigned a child for whom they pack a shoe box with various items which is then dropped off at a point from where it is distributed.
In Kouga eight facilities: 7th Heaven Children’s Haven, On Eagles Wings Centre, Hankey Kinderhuis, Eldred Groep Creche, Disney Centre Day care, The Joshua Project , Kouga farm School and the St Francis Hospice Kouga, benefit from the Santa Shoebox project.
The Fountains Mall is again the venue for drop off on Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27th Oct 2013 between Friday 9 am and 4 pm, Saturday 9 am to 3 pm and Sunday 9 am to noon.
