Hangklip
Hangklip is a small, unspoiled stretch of paradise and is made up of a few holiday homes, a lighthouse and the well known Hangklip Hotel.

A variety of outdoor activities include: birding, mountain biking, sand-boarding, paragliding, diving, hiking, fishing, and swimming. The Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and the Stoney Point Penguin Colony are only a short drive away.
History:
- Hangklip is named after the towering, east-facing rock mass at the entrance to False Bay, known as ‘Cape Hangklip’.
- It was formerly known as ‘Cabo Falso’, meaning ‘False Cape’.
- It’s resemblance to Cape Point, often prompted sailors travelling from the East to turn North sooner than they should have, leading to tragic results.
