Why? We know it is not the same as going out for coffee, but there are some days where you just can’t leave your desk. Our guilty pleasure in the office this last week has been Nescaffe Cafe White Chocolate. It makes the creamiest, foamiest, white chocolate flavoured coffee and we are hooked!

Rosewater Crème Brulee from Eat Restaurant
Why? Elegant and smooth, a ladies delight. Petri’s rosewater crème brulee is also served with home baked soft almond biscuits on the side. This dessert is so tempting you’ll be ordering seconds.

Bouchard Finlayson Sans Barrique Chardonnay
Why? An “unwooded” Chardonnay and a rare find! Sings of lazy afternoons spent outside under the trees. Beautifully crafted and locally made, what more could you ask for.

Why? Take in the sweeping views of Walker Bay from your table. A basket is a great way to savour a mix of flavours. Jam packed with samoosas, spring rolls, ribs, cheese grillers and more it is definitely a wonderful way in which to enjoy a winters afternoon.

This Weekend we’ll be…
Partying it up with Retro Dizzy at Gecko Bar
Why? Retro Dizzy is a local band, made up of young guys from Hermanus. Their tunes are a blend of indie and rock. Sunday is also half price pizza and we can think of no better way to wind down the weekend!
Catch Retro Dizzy at Gecko Bar in the New Harbour on 25 May – Sunday at 20:00, entrance is free.
