This month we are loving…
The Morning Cup Of Coffee…
Cappuccino’s from Caffe Blu
Why? Autumn has announced her arrival and its been rather chilly of late. Our offices are situated across the road and we pop in quite often for our regular cup. Rich, perfectly brewed and super frothy, it’s delicious.

Sweet Nibble…
Easter eggs of every shape and colour from Woolworths
Why? It’s that time of the month that even though Easter is still weeks to go, we go out and buy some for ourselves to feast on. Our favourite is definitely the hollow, white chocolate covered eggs that are perfectly packaged in a hen house from Woolworths. There are 24 in a box, plenty to nibble on until Easter!

When the Sun goes Down we will be Sipping on…
La Vierge Wines, Anthelia
Why? Anthelia means the ability to see angels on earth, with a name like that who could possibly resist. Anthelia is an elegant Syrah that boasts soft cherry, plum and spicy notes. This wine is perfect to warm you heart come winter time and smooth enough to drink on its own.

When the Hunger sets in we will be Feasting on…
On a mouthwatering burger at Europa Coffee Shop and Restaurant
Why? Europa is one of the few places that you can kick back and unwind along with a marvellous view of Walker Bay and of the people ambling along. They have an assortment of burgers, the kudu burger being quite a popular feature on their mixed menu. Treat yourself to a juicy burger and chips, you won’t be disappointed.

The Book we have our Nose in this Month is….
The Shinning Girls by Lauren Beukes
Why? We support local South African authors and Lauren Beukes is one of the brilliant writers to take centre stage with this book. The book is set in Chicago in the 1930’s. An unusual home gives Harper, a serial-killer the ability and the power to travel through time; to hunt and kill his ‘shining girls’. They’re bright young women full of spark – until he cuts it out of them, leaving clues from different times behind to taunt fate. Rated 4 stars, it is surely a must read!

This Month’s Movie to Watch is…
300: Rise of an empire
Why? This one is for the boys and men in your life. after the success of the first movie 300 comes the second one: Rise of an empire. After its victory over Leonidas’ 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches south towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes’ army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.
Rated 16 VS, run time is 1 hour and 45 minutes, Ster Kinekor
This Weekend we’ll be…
Taking a kayaking trip with Walker Bay Adventures
Why? We want to enjoy the last of the summer sun as much as we can and what better way than to take a paddle around Walker Bay aboard a sea kayak. The kayaks are stable and a breeze to steer and paddle. Just because the southern right whales aren’t around doesn’t mean you should skip a trip. There are still penguins, brides whales, seals, birds, dolphins and sharks to see.
