ShowMe Thursday Review – July
This Month we are Loving…
The Morning Cup Of Coffee…
Good Old Fashioned Plunger Coffee With House Of Coffee’s Blends
Why? There is that unmistakable aroma that you get when you pour the hot water into the plunger along with the coffee. Nothing comes close to that smell. I’ve taken down my old trusty coffee plunger and began using it, especially over the weekends. The roast that we are hooked onto is House Of Coffee, mocha java blend, light and fragrant, perfect for cold winter mornings!
Find it at any local supermarket
Sweet Nibble…
Woolworth’s Fruit & Nut Snack Bar
Why? The winter time is always tricky, all a person wants to do is eat and eat, throw in a few chocolates and cookies for good measure. It’s hard to stay away from sweet temptations luckily we came across a guilt free treat at Woolworth’s, their Fruit & Nut Bar. It is crammed with pistachios, almonds, cranberry and apple.
Find it at Woolworth’s, Main Road, Hermanus for R 9,95
When the Sun goes Down we will be Sipping on…
Goats Do Roam White Blend
Why? Drinkable and highly sought after southern French blends, one of the best wines we have had. Floral notes, with hints of pear and apricot, pair it with creamy dishes especially seafood dishes smothered in garlic and butter!

When the Hunger sets in we will be Feasting on…
Pizza, Pizza And More Pizza
Why? Pizza is one of our most favourite foods. Anytime is a good time to tuck in. Col’Cachios in Hermanus is running a 50% off deal on pizzas during lunch times on Monday. There isn’t much more to say than we are there! Try the nacho libre, it’s a take on a classic Mexican favourite.

The Book we have our Nose in this Month is….
Behind Palace Walls by Cay Garcia
Why? Intriguing as many young people leave S.A. in search of a new life overseas. Cay Garcia was given only a few hours to pack up her belongings, say goodbye to dear friends and leave Riyadh for good. She had dared confront a young Saudi princess her employer about her ruthless and cruel treatment of staff, particularly Filipino women. Cay reveals the inner workings of a holy city for which no tourist visa exists. She shares the intrigues of the expat community and exposes the nasty underbelly of the extravagant lives of Saudi Arabian royalty. – Kalahari.Com
