Is Your Makeup Bag Harmful To Your Health?
Each and every day millions of women wake up, wash their face and begin applying makeup. From lipstick, blush and base. Though we do think that they are covering the nasty spots or highlighting our eye’s they could possibly be doing more harm than good.
What should you put on your skin?
100% natural doesn’t mean it is what it says it is. Natural means it should be free from synthetic chemicals. Due to the fact that their is no legal or medical definition of the word means that it makes its appearance on quite a few beauty products.
Organic means, free for organised beings, free from fertilizers and pesticides. Many products on the market slap these labels on making you believe that synthetic and cheap ingredients are good for you.
Read your labels, avoid the following: Parabens, petroleum, sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfates (SLS) and phthalates.
Be aware of petrochemicals, these are made using fossil fuels such as coal, gas, tar or petroleum (often labeled as petroleum jelly or mineral oil).
If you have a natural product or organic product that has caught your eye lookout for certified labels or stamps from a organised health organisation such as EcoCert, Soil Association, BDIH or ICEA.
