The Stanford Stumble 2014
The Stanford Stumble 2014
The much anticipated Stanford Stumble took place on the 29 November 2014 at wine farm, Stanford Hills.
The turn out was more than triple from last years event and is growing each year. The idea, pitched by owners, husband and wife team Jami Yeats Katner and Peter Kastner is to encourage locals and visitors to “race” for charity with a twist.
Entrance fee all goes towards The Butterfly Foundation, water points are replaced by wine points and a person gets to have a good laugh dressed as whatever they would like. Prizes go towards those who finished either the 2KM or 4KM first, as well as best dressed team and couple!
The Butterfly Foundation, started by Jami recognizes those in need in the Stanford and outer lying areas, events like these are used to help raise money for much needed services, operations, facilities and more.
This years event was to help raise funds for a care centre for special needs children in Stanford.
We hope to see you at the next Stanford Stumble!
