The Stanford Players Presents…On Broadway!
Lights, Camera, Action…
The little town of Stanford was abuzz with lights, cameras, glitz and glam.
The Stanford Players, a dramatics group presented, On Broadway! A stage musical highlighting a century of song! They do it purely for fun and enjoyment, this is the second year that they bring a production to town.
Each year it gets better and better! The musical extravaganza was bright, thrilling, whimsical, everything a stage show is meant to be.
Some of our favourite acts were definitely lady is a tramp (Babes in Arms – 1937), I dreamed a dream (Le Miserables – 1987), Mack the knife (The threepenny opera – 1954) and cell block tango (Chicago – 1975).
Look out for next years production, it is sure to surprise you!
