Somerset West Golf Club
The Somerset West Golf Course is essentially divided in three areas, although it is primarily a parkland course. The 3 part are due to a railway line and a road running through the Gold course. Although the divisions seem to be inconvenient, they actually add to the challenge as all three sections have elements that challenge the golfer, especially when either the North Westerly or South Easterly winds blow.
It is a parkland type course of 5942 meters in length and is an 18 hole par 71, and visitors are always welcome.
You will not be disappointed by the view of the magnificent Helderberg mountain that gently slopes down to the course and if you are lucky, you may just see a White Squirrel around the first (top) nine holes.
