Final weekend of Gordon’s Bay’s “Winter Wonderland Festival”
It’s not too late! Wear your warm winter woollies and come and enjoy the final weekend of Gordon’s Bay’s “Winter Wonderland Festival of Lights”.
For the delight of all during the school holidays, this seaside village has been sparkling with festive white LED lights to the delight of visitors.
Especially enchanting is the Fairy Forest, which has been decorated with thousands of white lights. This romantic walkway delights lovers of all ages and is especially magical for children, so remember your camera!
Pop in at the Art and Craft Market at 83 Beach Road to find some handmade treasures – open 10 am ‘till late at night.
The Family Fun Fair offers many more rides, from dodgem cars to bungy jumping. You will shriek with fun and laughter (weather permitting).
Restaurants are offering warm winter fare so bring your friends and lovers, grannies and grandchildren and babes in arms…bring all your Loved Ones for this final weekend of enchantment.
This is a community event, presented by volunteers of the Gordon’s Bay Business Forum, supported by the City of Cape Town, aids Gordon’s Bay Lions and Rotary projects.
