The Helderberg comprises Gordons Bay, Strand and Somerset West as well as other diverse areas between the Helderberg Mountains and the sea on the south-eastern stretch of False Bay. There are many things to do and see in the Helderberg and many outdoors activities, from hiking and MTB trails to scuba diving and surfing in the coastal areas. Gordon’s Bay has a great harbour, False Bay boasts many great surf spots and the Helderberg has some of the Cape’s best beaches. Somerset West is also known for its Wine Estates.
