In the December Issue of Gordon’s Bay Reviews
Can you believe that we have come to the end of another year and the Festive Season is upon us once again? The Helderberg is jam packed with markets and festivals, restaurants are advertising their Christmas lunch menus and taverns and pubs, their New Years Eve entertainment notices.
For those of you who missed the debut exhibition of the newly formed Gordon’s Bay Art Group (GBAG) last month, they are holding a weekend exhibition at the Villa Via Hotel from Saturday 15th to Monday 17th – don’t miss it. We have some splendid artists in our town!
View our Gallery of their exhibition here..
And speaking of art and artists, Johan Vlok Louw is our featured artist this month, we have a book review of Stellenbosch author, Michiel Heyns’ ‘Invisible Furies’ and pictures of the Miss Link pageant and sporting events. There’s an article on the newly available baboon-proof bins that you can exchange for your present municipal bin and much more besides.
And finally, while celebrating Christmas and the summer solstice, here’s wishing you a wonderful festive season and New Year.
Until 2013, have a good one,
Lynn
