A while ago Mari Fouché, the editor of the Library Newsletter, had the idea of twinning with another library somewhere else in the world, and as we are one of the southernmost libraries on the African continent, she thought it might be interesting to twin with the library in Barrow, the northernmost town in Alaska.
What to do when baboons become troublesome
In recent weeks a troop of Chacma Baboons (Papio ursinus) has been observed regularly raiding refuse bins in Gordon’s Bay.
