At The Market Shed you can enjoy the fresh and vibrant flavours of home-grown goods when you visit The Market Shed in Strand.
The distinct farm vibe is helped along by the gorgeous views of the mountain range and the crisp air of a glorious morning in the Western Cape. There is a large area outside, where the market is held on sunny days. But, when the weather doesn’t cooperate, it is moved inside so that, no matter the conditions, the market is always on.
In addition to all of the lovely produce on offer, there is plenty of variety when it comes to ready-made treats (sweet and savoury) and drinks. Flowers, herbs, and sauces can also be sampled and bought here. Other awesome products include meat, biltong, macaroons, pastries, freshly-baked breads (including low-carb options), coffees, and preserves.
