City of Cape Town Emergency Contact Info
Residents can be active citizens in logging service requests on the City’s Service Notification system. The City’s electronic reporting system will provide you with a reference number so you can track the progress of the request that you have logged. You can use one of the following options to log notifications:
- Mobi site: You can use the mobi site to report faults such as potholes, water leaks, electricity failures and illegal dumping, among other service requests. The mobi site can be accessed via your smart phone at: http://www.capetown.gov.za/mobi

What is COVID-19?
On 31 December 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported a cluster of pneumonia cases in Wuhan City, China. ‘Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2’ (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed as the causative agent of what we now know as ‘Coronavirus Disease 2019’ (COVID-19). Since then, the virus has spread to more than 100 countries, including South Africa.
