Sabie – The annual Sabie Tube Race took place over the past weekend in Sabie, Mpumalanga.

We were ecstatic to see the river in full flow thanks to some good rain in the week building up to the event compared to the previous couple of years where the river was low enough to scrape bottoms all along the winding #SabieRiver.

The best way to describe this fun-filled weekend for tubers from across South Africa, would be: “wet, muddy, slippery and rocking with enthusiasm in the overcast rainy conditions”!

ShowMe Nelspruit was at their usual spot on the gorgeous grass banks of Ligna Lodge to capture the “Rock Star Tubers” passing by!
