Photos of the 2019 KMI Airport Golf Day | Mbombela Golf Club

Mbombela – The annual Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMI Airport) Golf Day was held  on 1 November 2019 at the prestigious Mbombela Golf Club in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

This ever-growing and feel-good charity annual calendar event seems to build and grow on its success year-after-year and has now become a highly sought after and anticipated sporting day out for most in the Mbombela area. This year all funds raised will go to chosen learners from schools surrounding the airport towards purchasing school uniforms, stationery and the paying of school fees for the next academic year.

This year’s theme “Around the world in 18 holes” had each sponsored hole showcase a different country, from China to Russia to Mexico and every land in between.

Even Kurt Darren joined in on this year’s KMIA golfing fun.

Andeon Visagie drove the longest drive and Ronnie Mbatsane landed nearest to the pin.

The overall winners of the day were The Renovators & Aluminum team (Richard Meyer, Dewald Meyer, Johan Pretorius and MJ Mentz)

Lowvelder’s Russian-themed hole was voted the best hole.
