Scuba Diving at Miracle Waters
Miracle Waters is a dive getaway in clean spring water, with a view of the beautiful Magaliesberg mountain range in the distance.
Their large clear diving lake is an old open cast chrome mine surrounded by natural bush and farmland. The water is so clean because it is replenished naturally by an underwater spring.
A Puma Helicopter and 3 small rowing boats have been sunk in 32m of water, to make for some interesting deep dives, and a red Massey Ferguson tractor has been put in the water at about 24m in front of the restaurant, due west of the helicopter.
Sporting five training platforms, it is the perfect place for the instruction of beginners as well as for recreational dives at all levels. All training from One Star/Open Water Diver to Instructor Training can be done here. Air fills are available from the compressor room for your own cylinders, or you can hire cylinders at the venue.
The overnight camping sites and chalets have basic amenities with hot showers. Either bring your own tent or caravan or hire one of the chalets for convenience.
There are lovely picnic areas under the shady trees with tables and braai (BBQ) facilities, where old and new friends can reminisce about the day’s diving activities.
The restaurant, which is open on weekends, supplies delicious cooked meals, and their shop, caters for snacks, gear rental, gear spares, and new gear sales.
