Pecanwood – Jack Nicklaus Colf Course

At the outset, the golf course was to be locally designed and planned, but following discussions with Jack Nicklaus Design, as well as investigation into the investment value and return of using a well respected golf professional to design the golf course, a deal was concluded, which saw Jack Nicklaus’ expertise become an important aspect of the project.

Design excellence and high quality maintenance combine to present Pecanwood Golf Course as a challenge to discerning golfers on most levels, testing their intelligence rather than their strength. Top amateurs and pros are put through their paces when playing off the 7000m “green” tees.

Magalies Park

Magalies Park has a 18-hole (SAGU Rated) golf course with the total length of the course being 5864m for men and 5001m for ladies. There is a newly built Club house and prize giving hall to accommodate all the corporate golf days, and they are very proud of their Pro-shop.

Also available are golf lessons, golf clubs for hire, pull trolleys, a putting green, ladies and gents locker rooms, and the repairing of golf clubs.

Magalies Park offers you everything from passive relaxation to active recreation and much, much more. The choice is yours, jog, or hike the scenic trails. Sweat it out at tennis or volley ball, or laze around the swimming pool. Ring the changes according to your mood. Join a river cruise or take a canoe or paddle boat; play pool or go fishing, picnic or play giant chess, court cricket or mini golf. There is very little you cannot do at Magalies Park Country Club.

Seasons Eco Golf Estate

Seasons is a par 72 golf course that is well established and challenging, it is recommended  that a golf cart is used for the first nine.

Seasons Golf Club is an ideal venue for Corporate Golf Days, Weddings, Functions and Conferences, with accommodation available adjacent to the course.

The Halfway House which overlooks the first and tenth tees with beautiful views of the course from the deck serves breakfasts, lunches, light snacks and beverages throughout the day. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere can be enjoyed by the whole family. A full bar service is available.

The Pro Shop stocks a comprehensive range of clothing and accessories.

Sandy Lane Golf Club 

Sandy Lane Golf Club nestles along the banks of the beautiful Hartbeespoort Dam, surrounded by the magnificent Magaliesberg Mountains. Just a 60-minute drive from Johannesburg, Sandy Lane is an integral part of the very popular Caribbean Beach Club, which is situated in the Kosmos suburb. 

The green on the signature par three 6th hole extends out into the dam and is surrounded by water on three sides. This is followed by the challenging dog-leg par five 7th hole, the fairway being bounded by a large pond on one side and the dam on the other. Both holes enjoy magnificent views of the dam and the mountains. 

This nine-hole course (18 holes) provides a challenge for both low and high handicappers. Narrow fairways and water features challenge all golfers’ accuracy.
