Your Festival Checklist
While to you this may seem obvious, but trust me even experienced stompers sometimes need a hand prepping for weekends away, which is why we’ve put together a festival checklist so whether you’re a trance junkie, happy hippie, ironic hipster, spirit guru, wild child, or party princess, here are some essentials to ensure that your festival experience is of the highest calibre.
—– FESTIVAL CHECKLIST ——
– Water – extra water is always recommended, so bring some drinking water along we recommend at
least 5 litres (Bottled water will be on sale at the bar, taps are deemed as safe but the choice is
yours)
– A basic first aid kit – rather be safe than sorry. (Medics will be onsite but you never know when you might need to bust a quick style on a small eina!).
– Magnesium tablets – these help reduce the cramping, you’ll thank me later…
– Shelter – a tent with bedding fairs fine, and some larneys like to bring Gazeebos, bean bags,
hammocks and all sorts… Some just take a break in the backseat of their car….Whatever makes you
comfy when you are not on the dance floor or exploring the venue!
– Camping Chair / Bean Bag – Sure you can go without this, but after a mad dancing session and many adventures….. you would wish you’d had one.
– Food (There will be food on sale but having your favourite snacks available is always a winner).
– Camping lights, torches, headlamps and LED’s are always useful. It is recommended to pack spare batteries.
– Bags for dirty clothes and rubbish! Many seem to overlook this one… Bring a bag or 2 to make sure you leave only footprints behind when you finally manage to drag yourself away from the party and back to reality ?
– Toiletries….. Towel, Soap…Wet wipes are useful – these may be the closest you get to a shower the
whole weekend. Bad breath and Bad Body Odour leads to Bad things…. Bring all your toiletries,
enough said.
– Medical info (if you have any allergies or medical conditions make sure your party crew have easy
access to any info they need).
– Umbrellas (not the type for rain) – parasols, hats, sunscreen, lip balm and sunglasses.
– Contraceptives…… Unless you want a lifetime memento of your experience!
– Ear plugs…. If it is your first experience and you are attending a 2 or more day party then this is
highly recommended….. also comes in handy if you need to catch some sleep.
– Comfortable shoes / flip flops (If you ain’t that hippie enough to go barefoot…?)
– Costume and towel – if its hot and there is water… trust me you’ll be in it… on that note, an
Inflatable something is always fun to have to float around…
– A lanyard to secure your car keys to your trousers or shorts.
– Car USB Cell Phone charger or external charging device – always proves to be handy!
– Cash (because cash is King! and you’ll want to buy a memorabilia from the stalls or a yummy
Meal or drink) – there will be no debit/credit card facilities.
– Tickets – because you can’t get in without these… probably should have been at the top of this
list??
– Proof of Identity – in case you need to know who you are!
