Bon Vivant returns to Transkaroo
GEORGE (April 2014) – The Transkaroo Restaurant will again be hosting the magical Bon Vivant culinary experience sponsored by Paul Kitson from Discovery on 10 May 2014. Kahlil Gibran said “You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.” For the second year running Transkaroo Restaurant will be making love visible by hosting this extraordinary event to raise much needed funds for the 285 special needs learners of Carpe Diem School. The funds raised will be allocated in areas where learners need it most, specialised facilities for this incredible institution.
Gourmet chef Maurice and his incredible team of chefs, kitchen staff and waiters from the Transkaroo Restaurant in Great Brak River will, like last year, see to it that guests at the Bon Vivant spectacular have an evening that they will forever reminisce about. This culinary haven is located in the old railway station of Great Brak River. Overlooking the river mouth and Indian Ocean patrons relax in this century old building while experiencing a culinary feast they return for time and again. Chef Maurice only uses the freshest ingredients available, preferable local, and likes to experiment, surprising patrons with exquisite dishes.
The talented Transkaroo crew pulled off an exceptional fundraising evening during the first ever Bon Vivant event in 2013 on behalf of the Carpe Diem School in George, and this year they will not miss a beat to ensure that guests are again wowed by the world class dishes and their professional service. Guests will again indulge in a five course banquet to their heart’s content. A feast of entertainment is also imminent as the enigmatic musical phenomenon, Chris Chameleon, will make this an evening never to forget.
On 10 May 2014 at 19:00 the Transkaroo Restaurant will again be a place of opulence and enchantment, made possible by the team of this superior establishment selflessly giving of themselves. Someone once said “Many small people, in many small places, do many small things, that can alter the face of the world.” The world of 285 special needs children will be changed for the better, and the hearts of many will be touched.
